Tour Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL AT DELHI

On your arrival at Delhi, international airport, welcome by our representative & you will be transferred to Hotel for 01 night.
New Delhi, the capital and the third largest city of India is a fusion of the ancient and the modern. Standing along the West End of Gangetic Plain, the capital city, Delhi, unwinds a picture rich with culture, architecture and human diversity, deep in history, monuments, museums, galleries, gardens and exotic shows. Comprising of two contrasting yet harmonious parts, the Old Delhi and New Delhi, the city is a travel hub of Northern India.
Narrating the city's Mughal past, Old Delhi, takes you through the labyrinthine streets passing through formidable mosques, monuments and forts. You will also discover lively and colorful bazaars that boast to cater all sorts of good and items at mind-blowing prices amidst a barely controlled chaotic ambience. The imperial city of New Delhi displays the finely curved architecture of British Raj.
It generates a mesmerizing charm reflecting well-composed and spacious streets under the shade of beautifully lined avenues of trees and tall and imposing government buildings.

Day 2: DELHI / VARANASI BY TRAIN NO2562 AT 2040 HRS

Today morning you will set out for a full day guided sightseeing tour of Delhi covering Qutub Minar, one of the world’s heritage site, built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199 & Visit India Gate (War Memorial Arch). Humayun's Tomb, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. Also visit Rashtrapati Bhawan, Connaught Place and Birla Temple. The Jama Masjid one of the Architectural gift given by Shah Jahan, is one of the largest mosques not only in Delhi but in India. Chandni Chowk - One of the main markets of Delhi, Afternoon visit Raj Ghat – Mahatma Gandhi Memorial.
Evening you will be transferred to Delhi Railway station to board in train for Varanasi

Day 3: ARRIVE AT VARANASI BY TRAIN NO 2562 AT 0840 HRS

Morning pick from Varanasi Railway station & you will be transferred to Hotel for 01 night.

Varanasi, situated on the banks of the holy river Ganges, is the spiritual heart of India. It is one of the oldest living cities in the world. Glorified by myth and legend and sanctified by religion, Varanasi draws pilgrims and spiritual seekers.

After brief refreshment set out for an excursion tour of Sarnath. Lord Buddha gave his first sermon at Sarnath. Sightseeing at Sarnath covers the Buddhist temple, Dhamekha Stupa, Chaukhandi stupa and the archaeological museum.
Evening attend the popular ceremony {event} maha aarti, which is conducted here daily @ 0700 pm and is one of Varanasi's prime tourist attractions.

Day 4: VARANASI

Early morning enjoy boat ride on the Holy Ganges. Later after breakfast commence a temple tour of the city. Visit the Vishwanath temple, one of India’s most important Shaivite shrines. The original temple is said to have been over 1000 years old. The Gyan Vapi tank enclosed in a hall is said to contain the original shivalingam. Pilgrims offer prayers here before embarking on the Panchatirtha. Next to the Vishwanath temple is the Annapurna temple, built in the 18th century by Peshwa Baji Rao I. The idol of Annapurna Bhavani (the provider of food), a benevolent form of Shakti is made in solid gold and carries a cooking pot. There is also a striking silver-faced image of Shani (Saturn) within the temple. Shani is feared for his destructive powers and is worshipped to prevent any ill from befalling the devout. The Bharat Mata temple north-west of Godaulia is a modern shrine, inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. It has a huge relief map of the Indian sub-continent showing all its rivers, mountains and pilgrimages. The 19th century Durga temple 4 kms from Godaulia is also popularly known as the ‘monkey temple’ because of an overwhelming simian presence. The idol of Durga, a manifestation of Shakti is dressed in red and rides a tiger with the trident, the discus and a sword in her hands. The temple courtyard has a forked stake for sacrificing goats, and non-Hindus are allowed only up to this point.

Day 5: VARANASI / KHAJURAHO BY IT 336 1225 / 1310 HRS

Morning in time you will be transferred to Varanasi Airport to board in flight for Khajuraho, upon arrival, check in at hotel for 01 night.
Khajuraho: world heritage site, this is a famous temple city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, built between 950-1050 AD by the mighty warrior kings of the Chandela dynasty, a truly inspired burst of creativity. Contain stunningly explicit erotic sculptures. They were rediscovered in the 20th century, is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Today you will visit Khajuraho temples, famous for the magnificent carvings depicting numerous exotic postures of the famous Kamasutra, ancient Indian work on sex. Only 22 temples survive of the 85 originally built. In fact, worship is still done today in the Matangeshwara temple, continuing an unbroken 1000 year tradition. Also visit the western group of Temples.The carvings and frescoes depict a variety of moods of every aspect of human life – from the mundane to the sublime. Exquisite carved images of gods and goddesses, ‘apsaras’ (celestial maidens) and animals (both real and mythical), soldiers, dancers and musicians, frozen in stone as they go about doing a variety of activities, decorate the temples. The temples are replete with beautifully sculpted and detailed erotic figures in a mind-boggling variety of positions, of voluptuous maidens and handsome men, which have aroused much discussion and several interpretations regarding their relevance and meaning. Contrary to what you may have heard, the erotic sculpture is less titillating and more amazing as you marvel at the creativity and craftsmanship of the people who chiselled life into stone. The largest temple of the western group, and the most magnificent, is the Kandariya Mahadeo Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Day 6: KHAJURAHO / ORCHHA / JHANSI / AGRA {171 KM / 03 ½ HRS}

Morning you will drive to Jhansi en rout visiting Orchha, a virgin historical site picturesquely located by the banks of Betwa River. The place with its beautiful palaces and thematic chambers is still almost untouristic.

Visit Orchha Fort complex, Within the Fort complex we will visit Raj Mahal palace, Raj Praveen Mahal Palace, Jehangir palace and the Royal Chhattries (cenotaphs). Also visit Raja Ram temple - the only place where Lord Rama is worshipped as a king.
Then continue drive to Jhansi to board in train for Agra, upon arrival, check in at hotel for 02 nights in Agra. Train: 2001 NDLS Satabdi Exp At: 1755 / 2025 hrs

Day 7: AGRA / BHARATPUR VIA FATEHPUR SIKRI {65 KM / 1 ½ HRS}

Early morning visit Taj Mahal, blushing in the rosy glow of dawn. Taj Mahal:(Taj remains closed on Friday) renowned for its spectacular architecture, seven wonders of the world and built by Shah Jahan for his lady love Queen Mumtaz Mahal in 1632.
After breakfast visit Agra Fort, Built by the great Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, is a master piece of design with beautiful mosques and palaces.

Later drive to Bharatpur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri (40 Km from Agra) Emperor Akbar built it as his capital city in the late 16th century. Built of red sandstone, the fort looks like poetry on stone, a magnificent new city rose on the craggy hills.
Upon arrival check in at hotel for 01 night.

Day 8: BHARATPUR / RANTHAMBHORE {240 KM / 04 ½ HRS}

After breakfast, take a Rickshaw ride at Park. Rickshaw pullers have been trained by the park management in bird watching and are quite knowledgeable. Bharatpur Sanctuary (Keoladeo Ghana National Park) is one of the finest bird parks in the world and a reserve that offers protection to faunal species as well. Nesting indigenous water- birds as well as migratory water birds and waterside birds, this sanctuary is also inhabited by Sambar, Chital, Nilgai and Boar.
Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary is open throughout the year; still the ideal visiting months are from August-November for resident breeding birds and October- February for migrant birds.

Then drive to Ranthambhore, while on the way to Ranthambhore visit an eastern Rajasthan village Garh Himmatsingh - on the edge of the State Rajasthan from the Eastern side {have an off beaten trek}, where you experience the real Indian lifestyle and also experience the rural interaction with the villagers as well as school of in rural area . Enjoy a Lunch with a local village family. Upon arrival, check into hotel for 02 nights.

Day 9: RANTHAMBHORE

In the morning set out to enjoy a Jeep Safari in Ranthambhore National Park and observe the activities of The tigers, a variety of birds including Owlets, the ubiquitous Langur (monkey), Leopard, Caracal, Hyena, Jackal, Jungle Cat, marsh Crocodiles, Wild Boar, Bears and various species of Deer, which are the other attractions.

In the Evening again set out to enjoy a Safari {Jeep} in Ranthambhore National Park.

Day 10: RANTHAMBHORE / JAIPUR {180 KM / 04 HRS}

Morning you will drive to Jaipur, upon arrival check in at Hotel for 02 nights.
Jaipur - the first planned city of India, located in the desert lands of Rajasthan. The city that once had been the capital of the royalty, now serves as the capital city of Rajasthan. The very structure of Jaipur resembles the taste of the Rajputs and the Royal family. In the present date, Jaipur is the major business centre for the natives of Rajasthan with all requisites of a metropolitan city. The city of Jaipur, painted in pink, grasp the appreciation of every visitor. One can see that hoary charm still alive in the avenues of Jaipur.
